Wemtech welcomes investment from Peach PE for our next stage of growth

We’re pleased to announce a new partnership with Peach PE, which is investing in Wemtech as we enter our next stage of growth.

Peach PE was founded in 2020 by Iain Maclean and Tim Thrower, formerly of OCSL and CANCOM. They’ll be working alongside our founder Adam Whitehall and the wider Wemtech team, bringing their experience of building and growing IT businesses.

Building on what we’ve created

Since 2013, Wemtech has helped businesses take the hassle out of IT, providing as much or as little support as they need.

That might mean acting as a fully outsourced IT team, working alongside an existing in-house team, or helping with a one-off technology project.

From everyday IT support and cybersecurity to cloud services and communications, our aim has always been to make technology simpler, safer and easier for businesses to manage.

What does this mean for Wemtech customers?

For our customers and team, there is no change to the people you know or the way Wemtech works. Adam will continue to lead the business alongside the existing team.

The focus is on building on what already works: looking after our existing customers, reaching new ones and continuing to invest in our team and the services we provide.

As part of that growth, we’re opening a Gatwick office to work alongside our existing Midlands hub, as well as a subsidiary in Ireland to serve international customers.

Peach PE is also looking at other businesses with skill sets that could complement Wemtech and help us grow our service offering.

Looking ahead

This partnership gives us the opportunity to build on the strong foundations already in place at Wemtech.

We’ll continue to focus on doing good work, being easy to deal with and building long-term relationships with our customers, while investing in our people, expanding our capabilities and bringing what we do to more businesses.
